BETHESDA, MD - Washington Wizards forward Kwame Brown, the first overall pick in the 2001 NBA draft, missed a Kwame Brown trivia question at Hot Shots, a Washington, DC-area sports bar, this week. Playing an interactive sports trivia game with his friends, Brown answered "Kenyon Martin" to the question "Who was the first overall pick in the 2001 NBA draft?"

"I forgot all about that," said Brown, who averaged 7.4 points in 22.2 minutes per game last season for Washington. "Now that I think about it, I do remember being there at the draft in New York, and getting picked first by the Wizards. I just haven't heard anything about me for so long that I totally forgot I was still in the NBA."

"I like what I've seen so far of Kwame," said new Wizards head coach Eddie Jordan. "It's early yet, but he's coming along, and I think he'll have a good year."

When asked if he considered Brown a bust as top pick in the NBA, Jordan replied, "What? He was the number one pick? Which year? 2001? Get outta here."
